The Aesthetic Institute at the Vein & Wellness Center offers a range of facials and medical skin treatments to improve the appearance of your skin. Facials and medical skin treatments are designed to exfoliate and rid the skin of impurities such as black heads and clogged pores that make your skin look tired and dull. Most patients find facials to be very relaxing.

Medical treatments such as microdermabrasion and medical grade chemical peels are often recommended for more extensive stimulation of the skin. Deeper exfoliation removes the dead skin layers, stimulating collagen turnover and growth. Multiple treatments help to decrease fine lines and uneven texture. Medical grade skin care is usually the first step in the rejuvenation process prepping the skin for more advance treatments.

All medical grade skin treatments are conducted under the supervision of Kelly Sullivan, R.N., who has over two decades of experience in all facets of dermatology and medical cosmetic skin care services.

Microdermabrasion and Medical Grade Chemical Peels

Microdermabrasion and Medical Grade Chemical Peels provide reparative and rejuvenating action when they are done as a series of treatments. One is better than none but to stimulate and cause the skin to repair itself, and to achieve the best results, we recommend one treatment every one to two weeks for at least five treatments. You will then be assessed for maintenance to keep you skin as healthy as it can be.

To maintain healthy, beautiful skin and to enjoy long term results, it is important to maintain in office treatment with appropriate medical grade home care products.

The Aesthetic Institute at the Vein & Wellness Center uses Cosmedix Chemical Peels featuring the “Today’s Peel”, “Tomorrow’s Peel” and Repairing Exfoliant. Ranging from superficial to deep epidermal depth, Today’s Peels are designed to refresh and exfoliate the skin without prior preparation. These gentle yet effective peels can usually be applied at your convenience to help correct blemishing, skin discoloration, hypersensitivity and mild photodamage. Tomorrow’s Peel is a medium-depth dermal peels, requiring a ten-day, at-home, pre-treatment regimen. Designed to correct the damage done yesterday, Tomorrow’s Peels are ideal for minimizing the visible signs of aging.
