The Aesthetic Institute at the Vein & Wellness Center uses state-of-the-art laser technology for skin rejuvenation. All procedures are performed in our office under the supervision of Dr. Kelly O’Donnell, allowing us to deliver you with the best results. Laser treatments are perfect for removing age spots and for photorejuvenation. You can dramatically improve the appearance of skin when laser treatments are combined with daily use of medical grade skin care products and periodic treatment with us.

We can treat all types of skin and a range of conditions including:

• Face and leg veins

Laser treatment is very effective in reducing and eliminating unsightly facial veins. While most multiple treatments are usually necessary for optimal results, you will notice fading of facial veins with each treatment. Facial veins are considered a cosmetic condition and treatment is not covered by insurance.

Microlaser Peel -  A full field resurfacing laser treatment that precisely removes the outermost skin layers of the epidermis. The depth is adjusted for desired result. A shallow treatment will eliminate sun spots and fine lines. Deeper treatment will effectively treat deeper wrinkles including the “smoker’s lines” around the mouth.

Fractional Laser Therapy – in contrast to full field resurfacing, fractional laser treatment creates narrow diameter channels in the skin that penetrate into the dermis treating a fraction of the skin surface. This is a excellent resurfacing technique with minimal downtime. The micro-damage that is created stimulates the fibroblasts in the skin to generate more collagen and elastin which increases skin plumpness and youthful appearance. The new erbium technology is safer than fractionated CO2 laser as it is more water absorptive and thus conducts less heat energy into the tissues.

IPL – Intense pulsed light or broad band light (BBL) is used to treat pigmented age spots from sun damage and elliminates the red pigment associated with rosacea and small facial capillary veins. This is an excellent treatment for sun damage on the back of the hands and chest as well. Acne is also effectively treated with BBL. 70-90% improvement in acne and acne scarring can be observed with multiple treatments.
